About us.
Plum Rose Publishing is a female and minority owned business started by a music teacher. Angela wrote her first music theory coloring workbook during the time she had off during the pandemic in 2019. Her brother Richard Bond, an art teacher, illustrated it, and she used her stimulus money to print the first few hundred copies. After selling to local music stores and schools, Angela began expanding her business into other music education resources and publications. Her goal is to develop products that make learning music fun. Now, she not only has book publications which help teach music, but has an assortment of products, including a free online music history curriculum, rhythm play along videos, finger puppets and stickers for preschool music, and a variety of chord charts and note posters.
